Alaska! Seward 5

The drive to Seward was gorgeous.

Swans and a gosling

Our campsite on Resurrection Bay was stunning and there were no mosquitoes!

Throwing rocks from whence they came
Watching otters

The bay was in front of us and Mt Marathon was directly behind us.  Mt Marathon has the toughest 5K on the planet with a 3,022 ft elevation gain.

There were many bald eagles

Eagle watching

Eagle watching became too tiresome for the littlest

Eagle was chased off its perch by dogs, but returned

First night's moon

Eleanora was excited to see the moon for the first time in Alaska

Peter & Eva

Chrisann, Naomi, Caleb, Josiah, and Rachel went on a late night walk towards Lowell Point

For our second day's adventure in Seward go to the next post about our hike to Exit Glacier.
